After facing the catastrophic phase of the pandemic where employees were forced to work from the comfort of their homes, the entire world is adopting this new normal in their workplaces. the design pattern of workplaces has tended to transform drastically Just so that the employees, when coming back to their old offices feel like a homecoming and have a harmonious and healthy atmosphere. To create an office space where people don’t want to run home at 5 o’clock we need to give each space a unique design identity.
As we reinvent the workstation, these transformations should include harmonious home-like aesthetics, social distancing, and cleaner and more efficient workspaces. These workstations need to have a separate nook or leisure area like a reading station, sipping coffee station, glazing out the window station to rejuvenate and relax for a while. A regular chair can be replaced by a sofa chair and armrest in a cubicle to make them feel at home.
These reconfigurations should ensure social distancing and a homely and cleaner environment. This shall encourage employees to focus more on output than their health. Many contemporary office designs have surely raised the bar and provided the amenities to their employees where work becomes pleasure eventually releasing optimum output and potential, as when employees are at their best the company is bound to progress.
